Trouville (2 km): its port, its Casino and its very special atmosphere.
Villers-sur-Mer (8 km): its market and lively pedestrian streets, its beach and beach clubs (in season) for children, the fossil cliffs of the "Vaches Noires" (listed, protected site), the marshes (nature reserve, lake and bird island).
Houlgate (14 km): renowned for its beach and Belle Epoque villas, as well as its lively centre.
Dives-sur-Mer (19 km): an ancient well-preserved town of appealing, authentic charm, with its 14th century indoor market and church, the village of William the Conqueror with its craftsmen and antique dealers, and its famous Hostellerie, a former coaching inn.
Cabourg (20 km): full of the charm of the traditional Normandy seaside resorts of the Belle Epoque, its fine sandy beach, the casino and the famous Marcel Proust promenade.

• From Paris: A13 "Autoroute de Normandie", then the RN177 going to Trouville / Deauville as far as Trouville. Then follow the Pierre & Vacances signs.
1/ (Route shown on the map) If you arrive in Deauville centre, follow Rue Auguste Decaens, turn left at the SNCF railway station and go straight down Avenue de la République, then left for "Polyclinique", Avenue Florian de Kergorlay, then Rue du Moulin St Laurent up to the crossroads. Opposite the church, turn left down Chemin de l'Aumône. The Rue des Aunes is the 3rd on the right (opposite the “voie sans issue” sign, which means no through road).
2/ At Touques, turn left at the traffic lights towards Saint Arnoult (D27 E) and follow the signs for "St- Anoult centre / hippodrome". At the 2nd roundabout, turn right for Deauville hippodrome (racecourse) and carry straight on for 1.4 km. Take Chemin de Taux on the left (there is a green sign marked "Tourgeville military cemetery"), at the end of the crossroads, turn left down Chemin de l'Aumône (sign saying "Groupe Scolaire Gustave Flaubert"). The Rue des Aunes is the 3rd on the right (opposite the “voie sans issue” sign, which means no through road).
