Hotel-Restaurant De Grote Zwaan offers you all of the comforts and facilities for an enjoyable and relaxing stay in Twente. Challenge your traveling companions or other hotel guests to a bowling match. Display your bowling skills on one of the four bowling lanes in the basement. There is also a bar where you can relax and talk about your bowling scores. Our outdoor patio with its fashionable large parasols offers you a magnificent view of the woods. If you wish to explore the surroundings by bicycle, you can rent one at the reception desk. But you can also bring your own bicycle and keep it in our covered bicycle shed. Hotel-Restaurant De Grote Zwaan also has its own party centre that offers you everything you need for all your parties and business meetings.

Food & Beverages

The breakfast, lunch and diner take place in our pleasant restaurant, where as well as the culinary and the service is perfect. Off course it is possible for everybody to enjoy a perfectly served meal here. Enjoy the dishes mentioned at our great a la carte card, composed by our chief-cook, or choose a complete menu. There are also special menus for vegetarians and children. Opening hours Breakfast between 08.00 and 10.00 hours Start dinner between 17.00 and 20.00 hours Bar/Lounge is opened till 23.00 hours

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
