The location of the rooms vary: Deluxe rooms with a bath are quietly located near the patio, twin A rooms with shower are located both near the patio and around the back of the hotel (some twin A rooms are connecting rooms) and twin B rooms with shower overlook the pleasant shopping street of De Koog.

The rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the pleasant shopping street of De Koog; the back offers a view of the dunes. New at Sandton Hotel de Cooghen in De Koog is a modern wellness department. Here you can relax completely and return home reborn. Our wellness department offers you the following facilities: Infrared cabin Steam cabin Sauna Rain shower. Reservations for the wellness centre and solarium are required and can be made at the front desk. Costs are applicable.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served in the adjacent Restaurant Cooghen.

Please note that city tax will be charged for a maximum of 5 nights.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 5.95 per hour. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 10.00 per day.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
