Rooms

The hotel has simple rooms with a wash basin. The rooms are equipped with 2 box spring beds with a duvet. All rooms offer standard facilities including 2 bathrobes. The toilets and showers are in the hall. Please note that during the high season there may be some noise from outside or from the café downstairs.

Hotel-Café Ouwe Dijkstra is located in the entertainment centre of the seaside resort De Koog. This cosy brown-café is open daily, all year round and is an excellent place to go to for an early morning cup of coffee and paper, or for a late night local drink or a nicely priced shooter. When the weather is nice and sunny you can also sit outside on the terrace. Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel. In case you don't have your own laptop, you are welcome to use the computer at the café, also free of costs.

Food & Beverages

In the summer it's possible to eat outside and enjoy the sun on the terrace. There is also a menu with a range of dishes such as uitsmijters (fried eggs and ham served on slices of bread), satay, bitterballen (type of croquette served as an appetiser) and other snacks.

Please note that city tax will be charged for a maximum of 5 nights.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

This hotel has no meal services. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Baby cots are not available.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
