Hotel De Zwaluw is a pleasant two star hotel with many options for its guests. The hotel offers tidy and clean rooms en serves an extensive Texel style breakfast buffet. In the bar/brasserie we serve delicious courses on a daily basis. You can also go in for a Texels Juttertje (local spirit), a typical beer from Texel or a wine from the extensive selection of our wine-rack. This is the place where guests are still treated as such. Guests of De Zwaluw will remember their stay for a long time after.

Food & Beverages

The hotel offers a number of nice an tasty options for you to try at any time. Dishes vary and include a delicious local drink from Texel (Jutter) at the bar or on the shaded garden terrace. Here you will be able to relish in the memories of your adventures on our island. The brasserie offers a varying and freshly prepared 3-course menu for a reasonable fixed price per person. Guests of De Zwaluw can also enjoy our extensive selection of international wines, liqueurs and cognac/brandy. The same goes for the authentic local beer from Texel, which we offer from our own brewery. In bar/brasserie De Zwaluw, you can take a moment to simply remember your wonderful day and let all the pleasant sights of Texel pass in review. Your host will delight in familiarising you with the true "Texel experience".

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
