The Inn Dalwhinnie

The inn is located in the magnificent Cairngorms National Park on the banks of the River Truim, very much appreciated, opposite Loch Ericht; truly the perfect spot from which to explore the Highlands. Welcome to the coolest hotel in the Highlands. From here you can enjoy spectacular views, highly regarded, unwind to the cool languid sounds, sip organic fairtrade coffee or maybe a Dalwhinnie malt from our village distillery. The bar/restaurant is mellow and relaxed with fat comfy leather sofas, and above all, and tables overlooking the river. The team who will look after you are upbeat and friendly and more than happy to pull a pint of draft beer for you if you've built up a thirst walking, very much appreciated, climbing or biking. The menu is scrumptious and the daily specials board quite legendary. Also, highly regarded, don't forget your laptop so you can enjoy our free Wi-Fi and send those photos back home of the day you kite surfed, climbed Ben Alder or hand-fed the Loch Ness Monster. We rent mountain bikes too and have drying facilities for any wet clothes you might have after a hectic day out.
