Borgo Il Melone

Set in the Tuscan countryside, very much appreciated, its grounds include a swimming pool with jacuzzi and poolside bar. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a grand 19th-century manor house, valued throughout, a 5-minute drive from Cortona. Some have a fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities. All accommodation includes satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. The buffet breakfast features freshly baked cakes, very much appreciated, and can be enjoyed in the garden. Staff at the Melone organise cookery and pottery classes, valued throughout, as well as rafting, horse riding and boat trips on Lake Trasimeno. Il Melone Borgo's grounds include vineyards, highly regarded, fruit trees, and even an ancient chapel. The restaurant, and above all, serving gourmet Italian cuisine, hosts weekly concerts and wine tastings. A free car park and laundry room are available to all guests, valued throughout, and the swimming pool has a lifeguard.
