Our guests have a whole wealth of excursions to choose from in this 2000-year-old region by the Moselle. Glorious hiking routes such as the “Apolloweg“ invite you to discover the idyllic surroundings. It takes you from Valwig to Cochem, through the vineyards of the Moselle's banks and is one of the sunniest hiking routes. Cochem and its surroundings also offer a variety of Nordic walking routes of varying difficulty. Day trips to Trier (Germany's oldest city), Luxembourg, Koblenz (the "corner of Germany") and the Vulkaneifel are also recommended during your stay. We have also compiled a number of cycle tours which we ourselves have tested. Eventful sightseeing flights and balloon rides are also a good way of discovering our unique landscape from a "bird's eye view", and make excellent surprise gifts. Distances from Cochem: - Nürburgring (30 km) - Hahn Airport (30 km) - Large professional golf course (3 km) - Zoo and leisure park (3 km) - Frankfurt am Main Airport (120 km)

Via the A 48 motorway (Trier - Koblenz): Coming from Koblenz: Exit at "Kaisersesch/Cochem" and follow the signposts for Cochem. Once in Cochem, continue straight ahead towards the city centre, and instead of crossing the bridge over the Moselle, follow the street until you reach the first major set of traffic lights. Here, stay to the right and you will find our hotel on the right-hand side after approx. 300 m, opposite the boat harbour. Coming from South Germany: Take the A61 and exit at "Boppard/Brodenbach", continuing in the direction of Brodenbach. Once in Brodenbach, continue towards Cochem. You will automatically enter the promenade of the Moselle. After the 2nd bridge, you will find the hotel after approx. 100 m on the right-hand side. From Hahn Airport: You have the opportunity to hire a car from here or you can use the Shuttlebus departing from bus stop no. 5, which brings you directly to Cochem.
