The Pied Bull

Reputed to be the city's first licensed house, very much appreciated, today the inn's interior reflects its distinctive heritage and haunted past. Dating from 1155, valued throughout, the hotel is situated within the walls of the Roman city of Chester. All the rooms are comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms and modern facilities. Period features include an original handmade staircase dating from 1533.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:00, Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast is served from 08:00 until 09:00. The bar is open from 10:00, 7 days a week. Traditional pub fare is served from 11:00 till 21:00 from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, food is served from 11:00 till 18:00, with the added bonus of a traditional Sunday lunch, which is very popular with the locals.
