Newly opened in February 2007 is the Prestbury Suite. This consists of the Luxury Single and the Luxury Superking / Twin En Suite, with whirlpool and bathroom TV. The suite has a private lobby giving access to the 2 rooms that make up the suite. To book the Prestbury Suite online, please select both these room choices for the dates that you require. As both rooms can be booked individually, one or both may not be available for your selected dates.

Hotel details

An ideal base for both the business traveller visiting Cheltenham and Gloucester and for the leisure traveller exploring the Cotswolds. In addition, Bath, Oxford, Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon are all easy day trips. Beaumont House was built in the 1850s Regency period as a private house/villa. It was converted to a hotel in the 1980s. It is set in beautiful gardens, where drinks may be enjoyed on summer evenings. Our comfortable lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good novel, enjoy either a complimentary cappuccino, or a drink from our Trust Bar (sorry, not complimentary!), before going out for dinner. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Food & Beverages

A full English breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:15 on weekdays, or between 08:00 and 10.15 on Saturdays and Sundays. On 25, 26 December and 01 January 2008, a substantial continental breakfast is served. An evening meal room service is available from Monday to Thursday, served between 17:30 and 20:00.

Payment Information: Beaumont House will add an additional cost to payments made using American Express or Diners Club cards. Group Bookings: For bookings of 4 rooms or more, different payment and cancellation policies apply. Different Cancellation Policies: For bookings during Cheltenham Racecourse events, a GBP 100 deposit will be charged by Beaumont House. The remainder will be charged at least 30 days before arrival. Minimum Stay: On Saturdays and during special events, a minimum-stay policy applies. Any amendments to your stay must follow this policy. Additional Child Policy Information: Children over the age of 10 are welcome during the week. Children of any age are welcome at weekends.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 20 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
