Rooms

The residence La Vetreria is shared into 13 apartments with a total of 22 rooms. Also in these rooms, as in the whole house, you can notice a special care for details just to make the sty really comfortable. As in the past, the lamps, the curtains and hand-made cuscins make the already warm rooms, very charming and pleasant.

Hotel details

The residence hotel La Vetreria, from the beginning of XX century, was an artistic mirror manifacture with the apatments of its owner's family on the upper floors.In 2003 it was refurbished keeping the cosy and friendly atmosphere of the sicilian houses belonging to that period. Alla the hand-made accessories show a special care. It is going to be a pleasant surprice discovering in the hall, a decorated altar, dedicated to Catania's patron Saint: Saint Agata. At the first floor, there are two wonderful drawing rooms with original frescos, whee take place meetings, parties in a subtle ammospere. A big terrace, facing on the big square of the medieval Ursino Castle, completes the big drawing rooms apartment.

Food & Beverages

At La Vetreria breakfast is a special moment so that you will find every morning a rich buffet with cakes and croissants, baked bread with butter and marmelade, yogurth, cheese, short bread, fruit juices and owning the right season, fresh orange juice, capucinos, coffee, tea and more and more...Unfortunately we do not have a restaurant within our residence, but we will be glad to show you, if you desire to book, some typical restaurants, specialized in fish dishes, pubs and international restaurants. Really close to the residence La Vetreria, of course!

Internet

Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 3.00 per 24 hours. 

Parking

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 10.00 per day.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
