Hotel details

The Farol Design Hotel is a daring architectural product creating the perfect interface between the 19th and the 21st centuries. The remodelled 19th-century mansion, formerly owned by the Count of Cabral, has a new infrastructure, built in a contemporary design. Make good use of the hotel's outdoor swimming pool and terrace situated just beside the ocean. Wireless LAN internet access is available in all areas, plus there is free parking for guests. Meeting rooms can be used for your functions or conferences, with one seating up to 300 people.

Experience fine dining at the Farol Design Hotel, where you can be impressed by Mediterranean fusion cuisine. Dine with some of the best ocean views on the Estoril Coast. The hotel has a sushi lounge, chill-out bar, and the outdoor Menta Bar. Breakfast is served from 07.30 until 11.00 and lunch from 12.00 until 14.30. The restaurant serves dinner from 19.30 to 23.00 and the bar is open from 10.00 until 02.00.

By Car: - From the A5 motorway take the exit towards Cascais Centro, Cascais Marina and Boca do Inferno. - The Farol Design Hotel is the first building that you will come to before the Marina.

Area information

The region boasts miles of fine sandy beaches ideal for surfing and windsurfing. There are more than 6 top golf courses in the immediate vicinity, plus tennis courts and Europe’s largest casino, Casino do Estoril. Water activities are on offer at the neighbouring marina, and sports fans will be interested in the Estoril car racing track. Lisbon (30km) - A 30 minute drive will bring you to the capital city. Visit the city's famous funicular lifts and see the popular area of Bairro Alto. Golfe Quinta da Marinha (2.5km) - Golfers will enjoy the proximity of many courses, this one just a short trip from the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
