All our rooms are constantly provided with fresh air from the Baltic Sea by our Roman air-conditioning system You sleep as under the open sky. Guests with allergies are accommodated very well. We offer stylish comfort double rooms, spacious single rooms and apartments on various floors. Whether bath, terrace, balcony, small coffee-kitchen or safe, we can please every taste. Our beds offer adjustable high-quality mattresses. All rooms provide an unforgettable stay, offering a dream-like view and protecting your privacy. Almost every room has its own hallway and a further door, separating it from the main hallway.

Our North Sea hotel in the spa town of Carolinensiel is unique. That is why it has already been mentioned in several travel magazines (Oekotest February 2007, Ostfriesland im Sommer 2006 and in Freizeitführer Nordseeküste 2006). Therefore, the 3-star Hotel Friesenhus can be warmly recommended. It offers cosy, comfortable rooms for every taste, as well as a delicious breakfast until 12:00. You can also relax in the Design hotel bar, featuring an open fireplace. Our house is open to you all year round, 24 hours.

Food & Beverages

We provide a daily and rich variety of daily changing dishes and self-made salads. Start your day with roasted coffee like our grandmothers used to make it or original Ostfriesentee (tea), served by real Frisian people. The freshness of the seafood, ranging from matie to salmon and the fruits of our Baltic Sea, the freshness of selected fruits and the taste or our unique variety of real ham and tasty sausages, combined with yoghurt and various healthy cereals will all help to bring a healthy start to your day. Every morning we offer a varied cheese plate with mild and spicy cheese, a rich variety of jams and fresh fruit salads. Our breakfast buffet offers new delicacies every day in order to make every morning different. Most of our dishes are still self-made. Whether you are an early bird and out and about in the early hours or prefer to sleep a bit longer, we offer our breakfast buffet until at least 12:00.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 2.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 10.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
