As part of the extensive restoration and redevelopment programme, 13 superb bedrooms and suites have been created, including our magnificent Knight of the Shires suite. Each has its own unique character, and each is individually furnished to the very highest standards with sumptuous fabrics and bedlinen. Hotel details

Full of character in its appearance, Dalston Hall hides a fascinating history. The surrounding area was once occupied by the Romans and then the Danes. Later the warrior Scots frequently invaded the area, leading to the construction of fortified structures known as Pele Towers. Built around 1500, Dalston Hall’s Pele Tower initially stood alone. Various additions and extensions and were made in subsequent years. In 1897, extensive refurbishment of the interior took place, together with the construction of the entrance side of the building. This created “a magnificent mansion surpassing perhaps even its ancient glories”, to quote a leading antiquarian of the day.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All children under 14 years are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
