Rooms

The Vilar Rural de Cardona has a little village feel to it, due to the way rooms are laid out. Two-story horizontal buildings laid out in two streets with a total of 100 bedrooms. We have twin rooms, double rooms, triple rooms, rooms for four people, rooms for disabled people and larger rooms for families. Some of them have a small garden or terrace and all of them have a great view of the surrounding area. Hotel details

When approaching the hotel from in the car you will pass a “masía” (traditional Catalán cottage) called “Ca La Masovera”, where you can enjoy the superb view over the gardens of our development. From here, on foot, you can follow the path down to the reception, a meeting point for all the activities and a small shop where we sell our home grown produce and souvenirs. This main building acts as the centre of our small rural holiday “village” and where you will find the restaurant, the café-bar and multifunctional rooms that apart from having stunning panoramic views are also ideal for small conferences or work meetings. The accommodation is found in the other buildings. The hotel is totally surrounded by nature and countryside. An ideal setting for taking part in some of the activities run by the hotel in its own Farm!There are 2 swimming pools, one adults and one child. The views from the hotel are superb views: on the left, Port del Comte, the Cadi mountain range, Busa mountain range, Pedraforca, Rassos de Peguera and Queralt mountain range, Cardona's castle opposite and Montserrat to the left.

Food & Beverages

Our restaurant "El Restaurant del Vilar", has a buffet and grilled food. Meals are simple with a wide variety including meals suitable for children. Different dishes every day, according to the season. Capacity for 130 people. Our bar is rural but elegant with a nice atmosphere, we offer a wide range of home-made sandwiches at excellent prices. In summer you can enjoy the two terraces: one is located in the Vilar’s Square and the other looks onto Cardona’s Castle as well as the Vilar’s kitchen garden.

Outdoor swimming pool opened from June to September.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 7.49 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 23.33 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
