Elements restaurant and bar is our new approach to food and drink. Guests can eat what they want, where they want, when they want and how much they want. Dishes are available in taster, starter and main course sizes. The same varied menu is available in the restaurant, in the bar and in your room; you choose. Open from 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 22:00, Elements also offers 24-hour room service. Our bar offers the perfect environment to unwind, with its vibrant décor and contemporary furnishings. You can enjoy a drink or a light meal in the stylish bar or lounge area, open 09:00 to 15:00 Sunday to Thursday. There is a 24-hour bar on Fridays and Saturdays, cocktails are available.

Area information

Novotel Cardiff Centre is situated about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the town’s famous shopping arcades and also many leisure attractions including: Cardiff Bay: Take a relaxing walk around Europe’s largest waterside development, packed with things to do and see: Techniquest Science Discovery, the Goleulong 200 lightship, Atlantic Wharf Leisure Village, or take a boat tour of the bay from Mermaid Quay. Dr Who – Up Close Recently named Cardiff’s number one attraction, this phenomenal exhibition in the Red Dragon Centre allows you to come face to face with Daleks and Cybermen, meet K9 and view costumes and props – all close to the main filming locations for Dr Who and Torchwood. Wales Millennium Centre: This major performing arts centre has won praise and awards since opening in 2004 and hosts an impressive programme of musicals, ballet, opera and comedy. Shows coming in 2008 include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Wedding Singer, Half A Sixpence, The Producers, John Barrowman, Aïda and French & Saunders. For a fantastic shopping experience you can try the St David's and Capitol shopping centres or enjoy a walk in the beautiful Victorian arcades of the city centre.

Road Situated at the Junction of Schooner Way and Tyndall Street, adjacent to Atlantic Wharf. From the M4, Junction 29, take the m48 & A48(m) following the signs for Cardiff Bay. From m4 Junction 33, take the A4232 to Cardiff Bay. The Novotel is sign posted.

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Breakfast is not included and costs GBP 12.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 16 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
