After you pass Cannigione, once a fishing village overlooking the gulf of Arzachena, and today a little tourist centre in a flurry of activity but still authentic, the road continues to Palau. Passed the last buildings, the Mediterranean scrub, the blue of the sea and the light blue sky are main characters again. Set down on this still uncontaminated paradise corner, lies Hotel Stelle Marine. We have built this little resort on the respect of nature. Respect is our philosophy. A careful and amiable welcome escorts our guests to the discovery of this extraordinary land, through the flavours, the colours, the fragrances and the enchantment. Only few kilometres far from Costa Smeralda, with the typical local buildings, our hotel becomes part harmoniously of the natural landscape. On the main building are the services, while the rooms are on a wide park overlooking the sea. Only 300 meter from the sandy beach with private access, the hotel Stelle Marine is ideal for fastidious guests that predigest a relaxing holiday in an exclusive hotel. Wide common spaces are furnished in harmony with the hotel style where the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, they are devised to permit the guest to relax and to enjoy a splendid sea view all over the day. Several panoramic terraces are the ideal places to enjoy moments of absolute relax, surrounded by the green of the typical vegetation that enriches our meadows, there you may sip a fresh drink prepared and served with skill by our barman or you may enjoy a snack at lunch time. The comfortable bar offers a careful service, it is equipped to serve a very good snack during the day: salads, bruschetta, toasts, cold dishes, fruit salads, milk shake and at lunch time also warm dishes prepared by our chef. In case our guests want to relish with a bigger meal, we would be glad to accommodate them on the restaurant open at lunchtime. Among the common spaces the wide TV room situated under the hall, with a big plasma screen, 42 inch, 3 meter x 02 meter suitable to show films and sport events; also it is at our guest disposal the videotape and the DVD lecture. Last, but not least the elegant billiards room, open all over the day with no extra charge. Evenings are gladdened by the piano bar; our pianist accompanies with class and tact the aperitif and the after dinner. In the external area, adjoining the panoramically terraces, there is the sweet water swimming pool, with a safe place for the children. Around the swimming pool, from where there is a view on the gulf, long chairs are at our guest’s disposal to relax them and to go brown surrounded by an absolute peace. A private not guarded parking area is at our guest’s disposal with no extra charge. We guarantee a shuttle service to Cannigione twice a day, while a bus, in the shape of a little train, not organized by the hotel, drives along the seaside. Food & Beverages

A good hotel is remembered and stands out thanks to the restaurant quality: during the last two years we have organized a kind, accurate and professional staff; the guest is always welcome with a smile and a friendly discretion, he is served with a sharp attention because the moment of the table should be a real gratification. The excellent continental breakfast with buffet service offers a great range of choice: home made tarts, several oven cooked products, several kinds of salami and cheeses, all types of bread and fresh fruits, a big selection of yoghurts, 8 kinds of corns, 4 kinds of fruit in syrup, 4 kinds of dried fruit, jam, sweet butter, salted and not salted butter, fruit juice and fresh juice, pate of salmon, of ham and so on, toasts, hard –boiled eggs and, on request, with bacon, omelettes, sausages and more and more novelties that make the breakfast the starting point of a great day, all of this will happen in a comfortable and refine furnished restaurant with an enchanting sea view. A great attention we put on the typical Mediterranean gastronomy, our chef puts together the high quality of raw materials and a great skill. Our menu includes a choice of 4 first course, and 4 main courses, always different and never repetitive; our kitchen puts great attention on natural flavours of the fresh materials, such as for instance the fish that is our ace up out sleeve. The dishes are served with imaginative decorations; in this way even simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil becomes a “King” dish. During the week we propose two special dinners; one based on typical regional kitchen (well known is the roasted sucking pig “su proceddu” flavoured with “sa mutta” that is leaves of myrtle); we have searched and we propose the secrets of Sardinian kitchen that is different depending on the area of the island; the second one is dedicated to the sea and its food: a welcome to you is given by a reach buffet of entrances, prepared with care to exalt the seafood fragrance; it follows the always different first courses and it continues with the main courses of shellfishes and of our gulf’s fishes such as: dentex, grouper, amberjack, gilthead, blacktail and sea bass, all brought by our fisherman in trust. You ought to see it to believe it. The best and refined wines of the island will mach with the meals, wines of absolute value to gratify the most expert palates such as the guests who wants to be guided by our maitre. You could discover all the nuances of the wines produced in every part of the island, from the deep inland to the coast: Vermentino, Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale, Monica and Nuragus, just to mention few ones.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children from 7 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 80 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
