Rooms

The Relais has 49 rooms, of which 3 junior suites and 14 country suites, some of which are communicating. All rooms have private facilities,and modern amenities. The Country Suites consist of an elegant bedroom, a living room and bathroom with hydro massage, bath tub, terrace or patio. The Suites give onto a large swimming pool and green sun yard. They are connected to the hamlet of Canalicchio by a specially designed wooden bridge, to guarantee the highest standard of service.

Outside, amidst the woods and slopes of the surrounding hillsides, you can enjoy a pleasant day hiking. If you are not tired and haven’t had your fill of the outdoor life, there is a stable nearby where you can saddle up a horse and set off to enjoy the marvellous feeling of being in another world, far from everyday routine, riding in a silence that is broken only by the hooves to your companion in adventure. When you come back, you can relax in comfort, perhaps sitting back on one of the sofas next to the enormous fireplace in our leisure room, thumbing through your favourite book. Or you can challenge your friends to a long and thrilling game of pool in our billiards room. Or just enjoy a fine cigar in our Winston Churchill smoking room, complete with humidifier. Rest and relaxation are the order of the day for anyone who wants to take full advantage of these pleasures by enjoying the leisurely atmosphere. Outside in the garden surrounding the castle, the cool water of the swimming pool invites you to dive in for a refreshing swim, perhaps after an invigorating session in the gym and sauna that the Relais has put at your disposal or after a pleasant ride on a mountain bike or a walk through the woods along the specially marked path.

Food & Beverages

The panoramic restaurant Il Pavone, in perfect harmony with its surroundings, offers you the chance to savour some of the finest traditional Umbrian cuisine, modified and elaborated personally by Chef Fabio. Courteous service and fine dining, together with culinary delights from different regions, make this a place you will want to come back to.

You can pay by cash, credit card or cheque on the day of your departure. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant and breakfast room. Please note: the hotel requires your name, address and mobile phone number for your booking.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
