The free shuttle bus provides transport three times a day between all the H.Top hotels where guests also enjoy free use of recreational and dinning facilities. The nearby beach offers plenty of opportunities for sea swimming and water sports including parasailing, jet skiing and wind surfing. Other hotels in the group offer activities including archery, rifle shooting, water polo and scuba diving. . There is health club, free of use to guests, at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar, with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. For golfers, special rates are available at the PGA Catalunya golf course. Within 20 kilometres guests will find attractions including Marineland aquarium, Water World, and the lively resort of Lloret de Mar. Girona Airport is 40 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes. Barcelona Airport is 70 minutes away at a distance of 50 kilometres. Area information The Municipality of Calella at just 45 minutes from Barcelona has three kilometres of beach and magnificent natural rocky coves, one of which is a naturist beach. The town itself extends from the littoral to the Natural Park of the Montnegre. The beaches of Calella have received for the past eight years the distinguished European Blue Flag for good quality and thanks to this an important tourist infrastructure with first quality services has been created. Also Calella has a very attractive commercial offer where the shopping area of the city has been converted into a pedestrian zone for the comfort of all our visitors. Travel information A typical taxi from Girona airport will cost 60 EUR. Trains from Girona take around one hour and cost 4 EUR, alternatively buses are available and travelling time is 75 minutes, cost is approximately 5 EUR. From Barcelona Airport, a typical taxi fare will cost 75 EUR. Direct trains run from the airport to Calella; travel time is approximately 105 minutes and cost 4 EUR; alternatively buses are available and travelling time will be approximately 95 minutes and cost 5 EUR. Calella train station is one kilometre from the hotel, for direct links to Barcelona and other towns along the coast, although a hire car is useful for exploring the surrounding region. Driving directions: From Girona airport follow the N-11 in direction of Barcelona, until you reach Calella. From Barcelona airport, follow the AP-7 highway in the direction of Girona, when you reach Granollers take the freeway, direction Mataro on the C-32 highway to Calella. Exit highway and take the N-11 direction Barcelona.
