The Abbeygate Restaurant offers a menu which includes local dishes, specialities and imaginative English and continental dishes. Award winning two rosette restaurant. The Vaults Restaurant, situated in the 12th Century under croft and reputed to be part of the old abbey, provides a unique setting in which to enjoy moderately priced informal brasserie style dishes.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 50.00 will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 50 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All children under 16 years are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
