The rustic restaurant is open from 11:30 to 21:30 and closed on Wednesdays. The restaurant serves regional dishes, seasonal specialties and a wide variety of German and international wines. In 2004, the hotel was voted one of the best 300 country guest houses by the magazine "Der Feinschmecker".

Sights within a radius of 15 to 30 km (by car) include the cities of Rüdesheim am Rhein, Wiesbaden, Idstein, Bad Ems, Limburg, Schlangenbad and Weilburg. Travel information By car: From Cologne: - Exit the A3 at Limburg-Nord. - Head on the B54 in the direction of Wiesbaden to Burg Hohenstein-Unterdorf. From Frankfurt: - Exit Idstein on the B275 to Taunusstein. - Change for the B54 in the direction of Bad Schwalbach and Burg Hohenstein Unterdorf. From Wiesbaden: - Take the B54 to Taunusstein, then drive towards Bad Schwalbach.
