Hotel details

Nearly all medical services of a medical spa are also available, with rheumatology, comprehensive physiotherapy unit (day hospital), physiotherapy sub-unit and inhalatorium. Operated by the Budapest Association of Spa and Thermal Baths, all courses of treatment can be offered to the hotel guest at the given rates. Limousine service to/ from the Budapest airport at a fixed rate. EUR 27.00 per ride. Gellert airport transport service: EUR 23.00 per ride. Both services can be booked when you have made a booking on our website.

Food & Beverages

The Duna Restaurant on the gallery level of the hotel offers not only a gorgeous view over the Danube and the city with the Liberty Bridge, but also a well known and appreciated gourmet cuisine, prepared by executive chef Tamás Boross and his team of kitchen experts to spoil even the most discerning guests. The Sörözõ Brasserie is the Gellért's casual restaurant for those who want to combine relaxed atmosphere with first-class Hungarian and international cuisine. Friendly service and a large selection of beer makes everybody feel at home and enjoy an evening with the family or friends. The café of the Gellért Hotel is a real temptation for everyone who likes home-made confectionery or freshly brewed tea or coffee. Choose fresh cakes or the famous Gellért Roll from the display and relax after your shopping trip to downtown!

Please note that unfortunately the hotel does not cater for disabled guest (with or without wheelchair). The rooms are not equipped with disabled bathrooms.

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 4.00 per hour.

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 8.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  3 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board is not included and costs EUR 18.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 42.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4.
