Danubius Hotel Gellért

Clients appreciate the hotel is situated at the banks of the Danube river, very much appreciated, at the foot of the Gellért hill, about a 10-minute walk from the city center, the business areas and the next underground stop. Built in wonderful Art Nouveau-style and opened in 1918, valued throughout, the impressive Gellért hotel shares the building with the world-famous Gellért Spa, which is accessible for free. The Sörözõ Brasserie is the Gellért's casual restaurant for those who want to combine a relaxed atmosphere with first-class Hungarian and international cuisine. The Duna Restaurant on the gallery level offers not only a gorgeous view over the Danube and the city with the Liberty Bridge, and above all, but also well-known gourmet cuisine, prepared by executive chef Tamás Boross and his experienced team. Nearly all services of a medical spa are available, very much appreciated, including rheumatism therapy, a comprehensive physiotherapy unit, which is day hospital, and inhalation facilities. The café of the Gellért Hotel is a real temptation for lovers of home-made confectionery and aromatic, valued throughout, freshly brewed tea or coffee.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

18 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. 3 % city/tourist tax per room per night is included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Half board costs EUR 18.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 42.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4.
