This family hotel, very much appreciated, renovated in January 2006, offers a personal service in a listed historical monument where you can enjoy a visit to Bruges in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Located centrally, valued throughout, just 50 metres from the Market Square and within walking distance of all the main attractions of Bruges, De Tassche is also next to the main shopping streets. The charm of this historical building, which is established as a hotel in 1782, has been combined with modern conveniences and decorated in an individual style. In 2006 De Tassche was completely refurbished. All of our rooms are non-smoking.

Hot and cold drinks and beers and spirits are served each day from 11.00 - 22.00 in reception. Breakfast is served from 8.30 - 10.00. In the summer you can enjoy a drink on the sidewalk terrace, overlooking the Belfry. The hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants which the staff will book for you on request.

Area information Hotel De Tassche is set at 50 meters from the Market Square in one of the top locations in Bruges. All of the major musea (Groeninge, Gruuthuuse and the Old Sint Janshospitaal) as well as many of the places of interest (City Hall, Belfort, Markt, Onze-Lieve_Vrouwkerk...) are within a 400 meters radius. More information on the surroundings of Hotel De Tassche is available at the reception. Travel information Travel / Location: By car: On the highway E-40 Brussel-Oostende take the exit Oostkamp. From there, follow the signs Brugge. You will then come to the Katelijnepoort. There you enter the city in the Katelijnestraat. This street changes its name into Mariastraat and then turns right at a pedestrian zone. Here the Oude Burg begins. At the foot of the Belfry you will then see Hotel De Tassche. You can park in the front for 10 minutes to load and unload. By public transport: From the trainstation you can take a cab to our hotel or each bus that goes to the Market Square. Since Hotel De Tassche is located at the back of the Belfry (the highest building on the Market Square) it is easy to find us from there.
