Whilst most hotel bedrooms are simply a place to sleep, these rooms are much more. Peaceful, quiet and a retreat from the city bustle, they provide the ideal place to muse over your day, at the end of which, you can sleep comfortably in the knowledge that everything has been taken care of. These rooms are well equipped to give a feeling of relaxed luxury. Each of the bedrooms has been designed to incorporate comfort with modern needs. Whether indulging in the extensive room service menu (available 24 hours a day), catching up on the day on your laptop, even sleeping - you will find everything you could wish for and more.

Hotel details

From the moment you walk through the door you are pampered and welcomed like in a luxury hotel. Upon check-in, your assistant will walk you to your room and explain the facilities your room offers. Throughout your stay staff are on hand to assist with any queries. On check-out (after a hearty breakfast of course), staff will ensure you an efficient and memorable departure, wishing you a pleasant journey. A personalised concierge service is at your disposal 24 hours a day for all requirements and needs. A selection of conference rooms with full facilities for up to 55 people (theatre style), can be hired out on a room only basis, or on a selection of day and 24-hour delegate rates.

Food & Beverages

All our room rates include a full English breakfast. The breakfast buffet has a selection of freshly baked croissants, delicious Danish pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, a selection of cheeses and cold meats, and fruit juices. Not to be beaten, the hot menu has a selection of English, vegetarian or vegan options, with all produce locally sourced and supplied from Sussex farmers. In the evenings, the New Steine Bistro transforms into a cosy Parisian restaurant, offering homemade French cuisine along with British fare. Surrounded by regular art exhibitions and mellow, chilled music, it is the perfect place to enjoy exquisite food in a welcoming environment. Open 5 days a week, with extensive à la carte options and daily 3-course special menus, there is something to suit all tastes.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs GBP 5.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Baby cots are not available.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
