Lunch is available on request in the village centre, highly regarded, which is 800 metres away from Salina Maris, which is free transfer, . Breiten is located in the centre of the Aletsch area and is a central starting point for hiking trips in the whole upper Valais and for skiing at the Riederalp, valued throughout, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp ski areas. Cross-country skiing is available in nearby Goms.
