Rooms

There are 11 rooms, including some rooms with views of the magnificent lake. Rooms with 4-poster beds are available on request and family rooms with a maximum occupancy of 5 people are also available. All of the rooms are decorated and finished to a high standard throughout. Whether you are looking for a peaceful, restful haven or a relaxing base from which to explore the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District, the comfortable, well-appointed rooms are a tranquil oasis.

Hotel details

The hotel’s lounge is situated on the lower ground floor and guests are free to use the lounge at any time during their stay. Snacks and beverages can be provided upon request at any time. The lounge also offers a complimentary library of fiction and a number of board games for guests’ use during their stay. The bar can also be found on the hotel’s lower ground floor. The bar offers a range of draught and bottled beers, a wide selection of spirits and a selection of soft drinks. The hotel makes every effort to ensure that the bar prices are lower than those of any of the local public houses.

Minimum Stay Policy: Reservations for stays that include a Saturday night must be for a minimum of 2 nights. Reservations for stays over public holiday weekends, must be for a minimum of 3 nights.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
