Area information You can stroll in the streets of the old town and on the banks of the River Garonne, visit the Pey Berland tower, or take a daytrip to the impressive Pyla Dune. Bordeaux is a great base for discovering the Route des Vins (Wine Trail) and its world-famous vineyards (St Émilion, Libourne, Médoc, Margaux, Pomerol).
