A family home for over 200 years, Egerton House retains the essential warmth and character from days of old. Egerton House is a delightful retreat just 4.8 km (3 miles) away from Bolton and close to the Lancashire Hills. With beautiful views of the grounds and a cosy open fire in the lounge, now with Wi-Fi, it is the ideal place to just relax. This hotel is also now completely non-smoking.

Food & Beverages

The dining room overlooks 3 acres of tranquil gardens. The Gardens Restaurant is well renowned and popular with locals. Choose from prime cuts of meat, fresh seafood, or select something from the interesting vegetarian selection. You are sure to find a wine to compliment your meal from our cellar of traditional and New World wines.

Additional Policy Information: Children under 5 years of age stay and eat free when sharing their parents' room. Children aged 5 to 15 years of age stay free when sharing their parents' room. Meals are charged as taken. Children of any age in their own room are charged 75% of the adult rate. Please note the hotel is completely non-smoking.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 7.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
