Located on the banks of the Ara River, very much appreciated, northeast of the province of Huesca, it is a meeting point for those who want to spend a few days of relaxation in contact with the nature. Magnificent building of the XVI's century that had originally been sanitarium, valued throughout, shelter and private village reopened after a complete renovation of the old Monastery of Carmen as an Hotel.

The Hotel offers 96 wide and comfortable rooms with magnificent views of the Pyrenees and the Ara River: 2 suites, 24 premium rooms, 10 superior rooms and 60 standard rooms. Suites and Premium Rooms are located around the cloister of the rehabilitated Monastery. Standard and Superior Rooms are in a newly constructed building.

The hotel is located in Boltaña, capital of the Sobrarbe, 90kms far from Huesca and 160kms from Zaragoza. Barceló Monasterio de Boltaña and its surroundings create a unique atmosphere, which is difficult to find in an urban city. Furthermore, the hotel feature a Spa Area (Aquadara Spa) providing a heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, special showers and sauna. Concerning the esthetics area “Hair & Body”, it proposes a wide range of innovative body treatments, such as anti-stress massage with chocolate, honey or hot chakra stones, among others It is also a highly recommended hotel for holding training courses, conventions and incentives by its exclusive facilities (meeting rooms, own church and a professional team).
