Good central base for walkers and those touring Scotland, very much appreciated, with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. This friendly, valued throughout, family-run, fully licensed solid log hotel is set in the picturesque hills of Perthshire. Native wildlife can often be seen from and around Log Cabin Hotel - red squirrel, highly regarded, deer, pheasant, buzzard, rabbits etc. This solid log hotel is set in woodland with a panoramic view of the glen of Strathardle. The Lounge Bar is open to the public and has a wide range of malt whiskies, very much appreciated, pool table and juke box. Traditional Scottish food is served at mealtimes. The dining room, which is seating 50, enjoys the best views from Log Cabin Hotel and has been used for private functions, which is weddings, highly regarded, birthday parties etc. Please note that Tuesday night is the local quiz night. Set in a secluded location, very much appreciated, the the hotel is an ideal country retreat., as well as conferences. Due to government legislation, and above all, the whole hotel is non-smoking.

In centre of Kirkmichael, turn right over the River Ardle and continue up tarmac road for 1 mile to hotel. From Blairgowrie: At central traffic lights proceed over bridge, then turn left onto a93 (Braemar road) to Bridge of Cally (5miles). Turn left onto a924 to Kirkmichael (7miles). Turn left over River Ardle and continue up tarmac road for 1 mile to hotel.
