All of the hotel’s rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Each room is comfortable and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you would expect to find in a 3-star hotel room. Rooms with front sea views and side sea views are available, as are rooms at the rear of the hotel, which offer the same high standard of accommodation, but without sea views.

All of the quoted room rates include use of the impressive leisure facilities at the nearby Hilton Hotel, which include a gym, a jacuzzi and an indoor heated swimming pool. The hotel’s newly refurbished sun lounge is the ideal place to unwind and spend a relaxing afternoon. The superb panoramic views of Queen’s Promenade and the Irish Sea form a wonderful backdrop as you enjoy a drink from the bar or a cup of tea. Board games and cards are available for your use and complimentary magazines and newspapers are placed around for your perusal.

Food & Beverages

The well-stocked Chequers Plaza Bar is open 24 hours a day and offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Guests can relax in the newly refurbished bar and lounge whatever the time of day, enjoying a relaxed drink with friends or catching up on all the latest sporting fixtures or the soaps on the large flat-screen TV. The hotel’s sun lounge has one of the best views of the promenade in the whole of Blackpool, with the stunning panoramic views stretching out to the Irish Sea. Tastefully decorated, the sun lounge is the perfect place to sit and relax with friends, family and colleagues, whether you are enjoying a drink from the bar, a lunchtime snack, or afternoon tea. Bar snacks are served daily, with a selection of both hot and cold options available. Tea and fresh ground coffee are also available.

Please note that the hotel does not accept bookings for single-sex or large mixed groups. The Chequers Plaza Hotel reserves the right to refuse admission to accommodation or to refuse the request for a refund should it be known or disclosed that a group of this nature is using the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
