Set in 7 hilltop acres with views over open countryside, valued throughout, The Pines at Eastleigh is an award-winning Georgian country house bed and breakfast. Food is freshly prepared using home-produced and locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast is served in the drawing room with its log fire and beautiful view from Hartland Point to Lundy Island. Rooms are both in the main house and at ground floor level around the peaceful courtyard garden. Breakfast includes fruit from the garden, valued throughout, home-made yoghurt and prize-winning local meats. The ancient port of Bideford, highly regarded, the fishing village of Appledore, and the sweeping beach at Westward Ho are all a 10-minute drive away from The Pines. They all have an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff can help guests organise cycling on the Tarka Trail, very much appreciated, cliff walking, surfing, canoeing and other water sports. Guests can relax in the garden room bar, valued throughout, which features its own library with a variety of maps. Friendly advice can also be given on where to eat and drink in the area.
