Foelas Arms HotelOriginally a farm which received its Coaching Licence in 1839, very much appreciated, The Royal Mail Coach often stopped here on its way from London through Betws-y-Coed to Holyhead. Beautifully located in the picturesque village of Pentrefoelas, valued throughout, just 5 miles outside Betws-y-Coed, this small, family-run hotel provides a warm welcome and good value for money. Snowdonia National Park is just a 30-minute car-ride away, highly regarded, as is white water rafting in Bala. Today the coaching route is the A5. Other nearby activities include golf, very much appreciated, fishing, hiking and horse-riding. The largest outdoor go-karting circuit in North Wales, valued throughout, Glan y Gors, is only a 5-minute drive away. Foelas Arms Hotel has just recently refurbished their dining room and offers a wide range of home cooked food, and above all, prepared using local products.

Travel information

The location of the foelas Arms Hotel is in the centre of the village of Pentrefoelas. We are 5 miles from Betws-y-Coed on the A5 Trunk road and 60 miles from Shrewsbury and we can be reached by train from London in 5 hours. Our nearest train station being Betws-y-Coed. From the North of England head for Chester and the A55 and then the A470 road and finally the A5 at Betws-y-Coed.
