Rooms

Look forward to the Kurfürsten’s comfortable, generously equipped rooms. Some rooms offer the added convenience of a balcony or French balcony. All rooms are non-smoking. The use of the hotel's private wellness area incl. indoor swimming pool as well as bathrobe and slippers in your room are free of charge. Furthermore you get a small basket with fresh fruits in your room. Cold-warm breakfast buffet and half-board as 3-course menu (selectable from 5 menus) are included in the room rate.

Hotel details

Hotel guests can visit the Q-Vital wellness & health area free of charge. This consists of a Chinese herbal sauna, an aromatic steam bath, a panorama pool, a Finnish sauna, a cardio-fitness room with TV, grotto showers, Kneipp facilities and a wellness bistro. In addition, there is a TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) centre with a traditional healer and medic. Guests can hire mountain bikes and trekking bikes from the hotel. The hotel can also arrange wine-tasting, tours of wine cellars, and hiking tours to vineyards.

Food & Beverages

Tuck into a rich warm and cold breakfast buffet with organic muesli and other fresh ingredients. Enjoy a host of exclusive gourmet, herbal, organic, or à la carte regional and international specialities. Treat yourself to a selection of local wines, which you can enjoy in the conservatory, the summer lounge or in the cosy restaurant with its fireplace. Not only can you sample 5-element cuisine (according to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Wi Xing) in the hotel restaurant, but you can also participate in one of the hotel cookery courses.

Wired internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.  Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Half board is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years is charged EUR 25.00 per stay in a baby cot.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
