Area information The hotel is located In the historical heart of the city, next to the legendary Alexanderplatz. A 2-minute walk takes you to the Berlin Congress Center (BCC), while the AquaDom & Sealife Centre can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The financial and government districts are nearby, as are Unter den Linden, the Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate. Within the hotel’s immediate surroundings you find the Nikolai district, the Hackesche Höfe, various theatres and the trendy bars and clubs of the Prenzlauer Berg district. Excellent public transport links (bus, city rail, underground, tram) lie just a 2-minute walk away. The international airports each lie about 15 kilometres away. It takes 10 minutes to reach the main railway station (“Hauptbahnhof”) and 5 minutes to reach Ostbahnhof station, either by city rail or taxi. Alexanderplatz station is a 2-minute walk away, and from here a direct bus service takes you to Kurfürstendamm.
