Hotel details

The hotel is dedicated to Georg Baselitz, one of Germany’s most famous contemporary artists. You find examples of his works throughout the building. In addition, you find an impressive display of modern architecture and interior design exclusively created by the Austrian architect, Johanne Nalbach. The Ermelerhaus on the first floor is home to 8 grand banqueting rooms decorated in 16th-century, Roccoco style. These provide an elegant backdrop for memorable events, while the hotel’s 2 modern conference rooms offer meeting space for up to 70 participants. Hotel guests receive a 50% discount for the gym, sauna and spa at the nearby Healthland International centre.

Area information Just a 10-minute walk takes you to either Alexanderplatz or Friedrichstrasse, which is home to various shops as well as Checkpoint Charlie. Directly opposite the hotel, you find a station for the U2 underground line, which runs through many of the city’s further attractions, including Potsdamer Platz, the famous Kurfürstendamm boulevard and the zoo.
