Area information The Hotel Zarenhof is located in the heart of Berlin, only 2 minutes' walk from the underground station "Zinnowitzer Strasse" and only 1 minute from the railway station "Nordbahnhof". The famous "Scheunenviertel" including Friedrichstrasse is one of the oldest quarters of the city and lies only 350 metres away. This is one of Berlin’s most fashionable shopping areas with numerous interesting shops and galleries. At the Oranienburger Strasse nearby you will find a lot of inviting cafés and restaurants, where you can meet tourists as well as residents. It will only take a short walk to get to the government district, home of the Reichstag, the beautiful boulevard "Unter den Linden", the historical "Gendarmenmarkt", the famous Museum Island or the "Hackesche Höfe" that are of great interest to tourists. In addition, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz and the legendary Kurfürstendamm are within easy reach.
