Area information Just a short walk takes you to the vast Tiergarten park and the Kulturforum (culture forum), with the New National Gallery and the House of World Cultures. A tour of the nearby Reichstag provides you with an insight into the daily life of MPs, together with wonderful views of the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz. A climb up the Siegessäule (Victory Column) is also rewarded with a spectacular panoramic vista. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) by taxi. Beside the hotel, you find a stop for the 100 bus service, which takes you to the city's most famous landmarks. You also find various underground stations within walking distance. At night, a whole host of plays, operas and cabaret can be enjoyed nearby.
