Travelling from Tegel Airport via U-Bahn: - Take the 109 or X9 bus to Jakob Kaiser Platz U-Bahn (underground) station. - Continue on the U7 (underground) line to the Berliner Straße station. - Continue on the U9 line for one station to the Güntzelstraße station. Travelling from Schönefeld Airport via S-Bahn and U-Bahn: - Take the Airport Express train to the Zoologischer Garten station. - Continue on the U9 (underground) line to the Güntzelstraße station. Travelling by train: - Continue to the Zoologischer Garten station. - Continue on the U9 (underground) line to the Güntzelstraße station. Travelling by car: - Take the city ring road to the Kurfürstendamm junction. - 200 metres before the Gedächtniskirche, turn right into Joachimsthaler Straße. - Joachimsthaler Straße will become Bundesallee. - Turn left before the Shell petrol station and continue to Prager Platz square. - Turn right into Prinzregentenstraße and continue to Güntzelstraße. - Turn left on to Güntzelstraße, and then take the second left to Jenaer Straße.

Area information

The Hotel Hanse City is an ideal base to explore Berlin. Numerous world-famous attractions are just a short distance away, such as the Gedächtniskirche church, the Berlin Zoo and the Kurfürstendamm avenue. Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 13.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 28.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
