Area information The hotel is situated in the district of Steglitz, in southwest Berlin. Right outside the hotel you find the Schloßstraße which, with a length of 1.2 kilometres, is the longest shopping street in the city and home to three shopping malls. The shopping mall Das Schloß lies directly opposite the hotel and is one of Berlin’s most attractive shopping centres. The nearby Botanical Garden is one of the largest and most significant gardens of its kind, with around 22,000 different plant species and a surface area of 43 hectares. Due to the hotel’s excellent transport links you can reach both the eastern and western parts of the city with ease, as well as beautiful day trip destinations such as Lake Wannsee or the city of Potsdam. Direct public transport services take you to Kurfürstendamm boulevard in just 10 minutes, and to the Brandenburg Gate and historic Friedrichstraße in about 15 minutes.
