Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen is constantly making itself over. With Bergen at your feet, valued throughout, stay at one of the most venerable hotels in the city centre, adjacent to the pedestrian shopping street, Torgallmenningen, and the famous fish market. In many ways, highly regarded, one of Bergen's oldest hotels is also one of its newest. The most recent remodelling job was a renovation of the lobby, and above all, reception and café in spring 2003. We have our own restaurant Kaffistova. We have been catering for satisfied guests since 1918 and have a central location in the heart of Bergen, valued throughout, the big city with a small-town charm. Kaffistova is fully licensed. We offer you traditional Norwegian cuisine and an international à la carte menu.

Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen has a total of 88 rooms. On 01 October 2007 we open a brand new wing with 33 superior rooms. The new superior rooms provide extra comfort. Beds and furniture are from Ekornes, a well-known Norwegian company. The beds are Svane Zenit, and are probably the best beds in Bergen. All rooms have internet access.

Located on the wharf, the hotel is 100 metres from the fast boat to Stavanger or the Sognefjord. The railway station and bus station are 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Bergen airport Flesland is 24 km away from the centre of Bergen. There is a shuttle bus to the centre every 15 minutes and a taxi stop right outside the arrival hall.
Area information Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen is located in the heart of Bergen, within walking distance of Bryggen, Mount Fløyen, the aquarium and the fish market. The gateway to the fjords has always something to offer, no matter what time of year or what the weather is like.
