In this side of ‘the alpujarra’, very much appreciated, far away from town and hubbub, among chestnuts, walnut, ash trees, etc. On the hillside of ‘sierra nevada’, valued throughout, in ‘the alpujarra’, is located berchules, a village in granada at 1350 metres above sea level and at 40 KM from the tropical coast. These houses were built with the most typical style from `the alpujarra’; the country décor. We find ‘ el cercado’; it is surrounded by many different mediterranean cultivations, and above all, located in an amazing natural environment in the enclosure of a rural touristy residential area. Each one was decorated in a different way, very much appreciated, it is easier to admire than to describe. Ceilings were made of wood, valued throughout, stone, cane, slate, etc. Please, highly regarded, check cancellation policy. We also offer a high standard of comfort and service.

El Cercado offers 14 typical country houses from the Alpujarras (2-4 people), all of them individually decorated and equipped with washing machine, fridge, microwave, TV, kitchenware, heating, chimney, towel warmer, terrace and parking at the doorstep. We also have a 2 person suite deluxe with excellent views. Let your alarm clock be the birds singing and nature’s fragrance.

El Cercado is a little piece of paradise with a character of its own. Managed, designed, built and decorated by the Rodriguez family, you will be welcomed in a cosy and warm atmosphere. Located in a residential area, amidst nature, in the area of Alcutar-anejo de Berchules, a village known by its already famous “August New Year”. The complex has 14 country houses, one of which is totally adapted for wheel chairs. Honeymoon suite, bar, restaurant, parking, adult and children’s swimming pool, spacious rooms for all kinds of events and children’s playground. Activities: Many outdoor possibilities, environmental education activities, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, 4x4, quads, adventure tours, wine tasting, ham factories, craftsman workshop and artistic and cultural sights. Enjoy natural quality tourism in the Natural National Park of Sierra Nevada.

Area information Located in Alcutar- Anejo de Berchules, which extends up to the Natural National Park of Sierra Nevada, rich in flora and fauna. Very close to the ski resorts and only 40 km away from the Costa Tropical. The area of the Alpujarras is full of history, charm, tradition and excellent cuisine. A place where houses hanging off the mountains.
