Alpenhotel Kronprinz is built in traditional country style and offers a unique Bavarian charm. It is located in a quiet surrounding but yet close to the city centre of Berchtesgaden. A magnificent panorama awaits you. Our restaurant, a real Bavarian snuggery, will contribute to your physical well-being. The hotel has an own smokers' club - The beer & wine tavern "Zum Fassl".

Food & Beverages

The panorama restaurant offers national and international cuisine and boasts a wonderful view of the mountains. Complement your stay with a visit to Faßl, a Bavarian pub on site, or indulge in coffee and cake every afternoon.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
