We offer to our Guests our tranquil and spacious rooms with a typical exclusive Italian atmosphere; enjoy a functionality that blends comfort and additional amenities, in a friendly environment that creates a practical and ideal solution for your business or leisure stays in the Bologna area. Our hotel is furnished with original antique pieces of furniture and therefore every room is quite unique, a particularly valid reason to come back "many times" to our ideal location. In keeping with the grand tradition of Emilia Romagna cuisine, our famous recipes continue to tantalise the demanding tastes of our Guests with a medieval tradition of history and old memories The hotel has two conference rooms, of which one "Giovanni II" may be seen in the photograph. This multi-functional 78 m² room with natural lighting is ideal for meetings, congresses and conventions. It can seat a maximum of 60 people.

Food & Beverages

The Hotel Bentivoglio restaurant was created a few years after the opening of the hotel on popular demand from our guests and has now become a symbol of the hotel's quality . Being in an area where the gastronomic tradition is so strong, all the famous specialities which brought about Bologna's reputation as "The Fat" appear on the menu, such as tortellini and tortelloni, filled pasta hand prepared by Claudia, our chef. Other dishes include tagliatelle with beef or ham ragù, beef cutlets with Mortadella sausage or fillet steak cooked in a variety of ways or simply charcoal grilled. Meals are served with wine from our wine cellar . Our menu stretches beyond tradition however, varying according to the fresh produce of the seasons and requirements of our guests, should the temptations of our tasty traditional cuisine be resisted in preference for lighter dishes. The restaurant is open from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Closed 3 weeks in August. Business lunches are available on request.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 2.00 per hour. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 8.00 per day.

Pets are allowed. No extra charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
