Thanks to its central location, a wide variety of excursions – such as the Palace Museum het Loo, National Park de Hoge Veluwe, the Monkey park, Burger’s Bush (unique zoo) and Open air museum – are all within the vicinity. Many of these attractions can be nicely combined with a bike trip.

From the direction of Amsterdam: Take the A1 motorway and head for exit number 20 ‘Apeldoorn Zuid, Beekbergen’. Follow this road through the city of Beekbergen and exit in the direction of Arnhem. Turn after 2.5 km in the direction of Stoppelberg at the blue ANWB signs (Dutch road assistance association). From the direction of Almelo: Take the A1 motorway. Take the A50 motorway at the Beekbergen junction.
