Wentworth House is set in a peaceful location but just 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Bath Hotels like the hotel with car park, valued throughout, swimming pool & hot tub are hard to find so close to the city centre. The house enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful city of Bath. Clients appreciate the hotel Hotel is an imposing Victorian mansion built in 1887 for a wealthy merchant and his family. Set in almost an acre of grounds, very much appreciated, guests can relax and take a quiet drink on one of the garden terraces or a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool. Although just 15 minutes stroll from the city centre, valued throughout, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle. The latest addition to our facilities is a garden hot tub available to guests, which is at an extra charge, where guests can relax and enjoy the views across the valley all year round.

Food & Beverages

The hotel restaurant utilizes fresh and local produce and herbs from the hotel gardens. All dishes are homemade and the the food is European in style. Only continental breakfast will be served during New year ( 01.01.10 and 02.01.10).

On arrival, guests will be issued with a room and front door key. Check-in must be before 22:30 as the hotel does not have a night porter and reception closes at 22:30. Guests without keys will not have access to the hotel. Wentworth House does not accept children under the age of 7.

Travel information Wentworth House is located on the south side of the city. On arrival in Bath follow signs for Wells a39 until you reach the railway arches on your right. At this point turn sharp left up the hill on a367 for 1 mile until you see the 'Bear' pub on your right (it has a polar bear over the front door). Bloomfield road is on the right hand side of the road, two turnings past 'The Bear' pub. Wentworth House hotel is 100 metres up Bloomfield Road on the right hand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 7 years are welcome. All children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
