The highest standards of accommodation is a combination of both comfort and style. There is a lift to all floors. Naturally should you choose to dine in your room we offer a limited 24 hour room service. In addition we also have a number of ground floor rooms.

Situated in the town centre, the Hotel offers all modern facilities while retaining its original charm and character. All bedrooms have bathroom en-suite and the lift provides easy access to all floors. The relaxing lounges are waiter served throughout the day and are well renowned for their wonderful selection of afternoon teas, patisserie and specialist coffees. 'Lord Fortescue's', the Hotel Restaurant, enjoys a particularly fine reputation with extensive A La Carte and Table d'Hote menus to choose from.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
