Hotel details

The H1898’s colonial-style hall leads onto a library and business centre, where you can make use of the free internet terminals. Exclusive facilities include a shoeshine service and free Wi-Fi throughout. In the spa zone you can unwind using facilities such as the dry sauna, a steam bath or therapeutic showers. The indoor pool comes with a massage bench using micro-bubbles. Massages and other body treatments – inspired by the spices and products of the Silk Route – are given in the private treatment cabins (extra fees may apply). The hotel is named after the year in which the final Spanish colonies, the Philippines and Cuba, gained independence. The building was once the headquarters for the Filipino Tobacco Company.
