The hotel is situated close to the centuries-old commercial city of Amsterdam as well as Schiphol International Airport, in a remarkably quiet area, away from the airport approach routes, and is only a stone’s throw away from the rural town of Badhoevedorp, with its quaint and friendly centre.

Travel information

Novotel Amsterdam Airport is easily accessible by an extensive and modern motorway and railway network, with connections to all important cultural and business centres in the Benelux and Europe. You can also travel to and from Schiphol Airport in one of the air-conditioned busses of the Shuttle Service. Upon arrival at your hotel, checking in is quick and easy, and you are ready to enjoy your stay. Coming from Utrecht please follow the direction to Haarlem A9 and than take the exit Badhoevedorp and turn left at the T-crossing with the Schipholweg. At the first traffic lights turn right, Sloterweg, and you will see the Novotel Amsterdam Airport on your righthand side. Coming from Amsterdam please follow the direction to Haarlem / Badhoevedorp A9 and than take exit Badhoevedorp. Follow the road till the T-crossing with the Schipholweg and turn left. At the first traffic lights turn right, Sloterweg, and you will see the Novotel Amsterdam Airport on your righthand side. Coming from Den Haag, go through the Schipholtunnel. Follow the direction Haarlem A9 and take the exit Badhoevedorp. Follow the road till the T-crossing with the Schipholweg and turn left. At the first traffic lights turn right, Sloterweg, and you will see the Novotel Amsterdam Airport on your righthand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  6 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 17.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to two children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
